LINEAR RECRUITMENT APPOINTS NEW SHEFFIELD BRANCH MANAGER
Specialist recruitment company, Linear Recruitment, has promoted Simon Gillott to the post of branch manager for the industrial team at its Sheffield headquarters.
The move follows the promotion of the company’s former industrial team Sheffield branch manager, Rhian Balshaw, to the new role of industrial director last month, creating the vacancy in the team.
Originally from Barnsley, Simon has lived in Sheffield most of his life and his new role will see him managing the Linear team, client relationships and candidates across the Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham areas, as well as further afield in South Yorkshire and the Midlands.
Simon has played a key role in the development of Linear’s industrial business in Sheffield for the past six years, working closely with Rhian to build on the company’s industrial client base. Following his promotion Simon will now be responsible for a team of five recruitment professionals in Sheffield and a further two at the company’s Walsall office providing both temporary and permanent staff to a wide variety of industrial and food manufacturing clients.
