Linear Recruitment Celebrates 10 Years
This June, Linear Recruitment will be celebrating ten years in business, and to mark this exciting occasion, we are pledging to raise £10,000 for two local charities.
Adam Turner, Managing Director of Linear Recruitment, said: “In a ten year period of time that has seen fundamental changes in the way we have had to manage our business we have continued to offer high levels of service, win new business and expand across the UK to achieve an expected turnover of £17 million this year!
“To mark the 10 years we have decided to raise money for Weston Park Cancer Charity and The Children’s Hospital Charity. 18 members of staff will compete in the Great Yorkshire 10K run in Sheffield on the 9th October 2011 with a target figure to raise at least £10k!”
He added: “Not only will we have the support of our clients, friends and family; Linear has made a pledge to donate £1 for every timesheet processed each week from July to September. And as a thank you to the staff within Linear and our clients for their ongoing dedication and loyalty we will hold a street party on the evening of 8th July 2011”
CherylRidge, fundraiser at The Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We are delighted to have this pledge of support from Linear Recruitment.
“It’s fantastic to see a local company celebrating its success by giving something back to the local community in which it is based. Any funds raised by the firm will make a big difference to our young patients and help us to keep The Children’s Hospital positioned at the very forefront of paediatric care. Catherine Newman, Senior Fundraiser at Weston Park said: “Every penny raised by Linear will help people living with cancer in our region, the funds raised will support vital cancer research and improve treatment and care for our patients. On behalf of the staff and patients at Weston Park Hospital I would like to thank everyone at Linear Recruitment.”
Born and bred in Sheffield starting with just 2 members of staff, our roots lie firmly here which is why we have decided to support these 2 local charities both of which are dear to the workers at Linear.
