Linear Construction Recruitment Agency London, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle

Linear Recruitment Short-listed for Construction and Engineering Employment Award

Press Release:
Independent recruitment company, Sheffield based Linear, has been recognised as a great place to work after being shortlisted for a national award.
The company has been selected from across the UK’s recruitment industry as one of just nine finalists in the ‘Best Small Company to Work For’ category of the IRP (Institute of Recruitment Professionals) Awards.  The winner of the prestigious award will be announced in September at a gala dinner in London hosted by newsreader, Huw Edwards, where Linear will take its place amongst the biggest and most successful recruitment firms in the UK.
Comments managing director, Adam Turner: “It’s now 10 years since we first established the business in Sheffield and, while we’ve grown to a 46-strong team across six UK-wide offices, our core values remain the same: quality, honesty and integrity.  That goes for our dealings with clients and candidates and also our approach to managing our own staff.  Employees stay with us because we’re loyal to them, we offer them opportunities to develop their career and we invest in training.  We’re delighted that our approach has been recognised by the IRP awards and we’re keeping everything crossed for a win in September.”
Established to celebrate excellence in recruitment, this is the third year for the annual IRP awards and the first time that Linear has been shortlisted.  The company has proved its credentials in helping staff to maximise their potential over the past two years: giving Geoff Taylor and Peter Walker the opportunity to open a new office in Newcastle and Jordan Davies the chance to open another in Bristol in a few weeks time.
Adam adds: “We are inherently a people business: we’ve been fortunate to attract some very talented people to the company and if we nurture that talent its good news for staff, good news for our clients and, ultimately, good for business.”
