Position Description:
To be honest there are many mediocre opportunities in the Leeds Architectural market at the moment – they can be found on many other job boards. There is one vacancy that stands head and shoulders above the others. The opportunity to join a rapidly growing practice with a goal to become THE practice in Leeds – they currently have a reputation for designing multi award winning schemes. Your role will be to take the lead and deliver what will be the highest profile project in the highest profile location in Leeds over 2008.
This role is not for the weak hearted – this is an opportunity for a project architect to make their name on a scheme of varying complexity.
The role has arisen due to the sheer influx of quality new build commercial/industrial & refurbishment schemes particularly from one key developer client, covering many sectors including commercial, retail, community, residential, leisure.
The client requires someone who is either able to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the construction process or someone who has recently qualified and is now keen to cut their teeth – you will be charged with providing striking design input & show a background that includes having driven large - scale commercial projects.
