Position Description:
Our client a small private practice in Sheffield is currently experiencing a period of exciting growth. Supported by a long established consultancy, this unique opportunity has arisen due to an increase of quality varied design work not traditionally part of their core business.
A Senior/principal Architectural Technician is required to operate reporting directly to the Head of Architecture within the business & take on a pivotal role in leading land mark buildings that cover a wide construction value, £50,000- £100M.
This role will play a key part in the expansion plans which are to more than double the team in the next 24 months in order to service the increasing demands of their clients. Currently you would manage a small team of 2 professionals.
Your experience should allow you to have a thorough working knowledge of UK Architectural practice for non-residential building types and current UK building regulations. You will be dealing with clients from initial stages of the scheme, using CAD for practical detailing duties, attending all design & project meetings through to the final completion of the projects on site.
