A company based in the heart of Leeds City Centre, best described as Leeds’s best kept secret, has an opportunity for an experienced traffic and transport planner with excellent modelling skills.
Working on various traffic & transport assessments including Commercial Developments, and local authority LRT systems, this firm holds a very strong position in the market for a transportation specialist, engineering consultancy.
You will also be working on major Highways schemes, within the UK, Ireland and the Czech Republic, so there will be an opportunity for travel although this is not a mandatory part of the role.

To take this exciting next step in your career, you will need to have 3-5 years' experience of traffic engineering. Ideally this will be a direct continuation from a Transportation/engineering related degree. You will need to be proficient in micro-simulation techniques for traffic networks in both theory and practice. Prior experience of using TRANSYT and VISSIM is mandatory.
