Position Description:
One of the UK's most prestigious multi-disciplinary consultancies requires a Senior Transport Planner based in there Leeds office, just outside the City Centre. This specific department primarily provides technical expertise to a range of private developers and local authorities.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with relevant postgraduate experience.

You will have experience in implementing transport assessments and will be skilled at securing planning permission &/or consent for your clients. You will therefore need to possess a strong understanding of transport planning principles coupled with effective communication and negotiations skills.

Successful candidates must be familiar with the following programmes;
TRANSYT & VISSIM.

You will be actively involved in numerous exciting projects overseeing junior staff members and mentoring when required. Generation of reports and presentations to senior staff will also be a regular part of your role.
