Position Description:
About the Role
Working as part of our Civil & Structural Engineering Unit in Leeds. you will provide Geotechnical input to a variety of projects and should have a minimum of 3 years experience since graduation as a geotechnical engineer in some of the following areas
 Undertaking desk studies, planning and implementing ground investigations
 Undertaking geotechnical analyses and designs
 Undertaking site supervision and other related activities
 Planning and interpretation of ground investigations
 Foundation design
 Slope stability analysis and design of remedial measures

Additional Benefits:
About You
You will have a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Ideally you will also hold a postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, membership of a relevant professional institution, be a Chartered Engineer or preparing for their professional review.
You will have some previous experience and knowledge of the local market. Knowledge of contractual matters would be an advantage but is not essential. Previous work experience in UK Geotechnical Engineering is essential.
