Position Description:
One of the Biggest multi-disciplinary international design and engineering consultancy in the build and natural environment world is seeking a new Assistant Bridge Engineer to be involved in the design of many new and existing bridges, ranging from minor accommodation to multi-span bridges and viaducts. You will be involved in many project responsibilities, such as the monitoring of a small team, identifying and managing a group of individuals. The company is looking for an individual who can show previous experience leading teams.
You will need to be able to work independently and with minimal supervision, as well as have the confidence and communication ability to present and explain your work. You may also be required to mentor more junior staff within the team.
Another key aspect of this vacancy will be your ability to communicate with clients, both existing and new. You will need the ability to turn the client’s needs and wants, in the practical designs, as well as identify the opportunities of new clients, through the communication with client managers.
