Position Description:
Based in the Newcastle office, my client requires a Senior Highways technician with relevant experience to lead a busy team and to work on a diverse range of projects.

Engineers will need to be able to:-
• Assisting with the management of the draughting team
• Supervision of all aspects of CAD protection
• Preparation of planning approval drawings
• Communicating directly with clients, contractors and other external third parties
• Provide AutoCAD draughting, quality assurance and technical administration of drawings on projects
• Organization of CAD drawings and the maintenance of incoming and outgoing drawing registers

Candidates should have a good multidisciplinary knowledge of their field and be able to positively assist other disciplines regarding aspects of their design as it impacts CAD issues. The ideal candidate would fulfill a senior role within an enthusiastic team and be able to demonstrate previous people management experience.
