Position Description:
A good contracts manager is required in a permanent role to manage house foundations contracts and projects in the Peterborough & Cambridge area predominantly. They will be responsible for planning contracts in conjunction with other departments and subcontractors. They will take managerial responsibility, reviewing estimates, design and front projects with the client from receipt of the order (following hand over from the sales team) through to final completion.
They must have a managerial CSCS card. Candidates are likely to have a NHC or HND in civil engineering, Autocad skills, excellent managerial and people skills, good communication, organisation, planning, influencing and negotiating skills in addition to a wealth of knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Candidates must be self managed, computer literate and have a reasonably clean driving licence.
