The opportunities are excellent for the right person. You will be joining this medium sized practice based in the centre of Leeds at a key time in their development and your input on a range of projects such as regeneration projects which currently include residential, retail and mixed use schemes will see your stature and status within the office.

Person Specification:
Ideally a Chartered Architect (ARB/RIBA registered) with a proven track record in the industry. Your experience will have come in the mixed use, commercial, residential and regeneration sectors although candidates with a solid background in other sectors will equally be considered.

You must be fully conversant with UK Building Regulations to be considered for this role.

Description

An opportunity has arisen to work for one of the sleeping giants in Leeds. This Prestigious Leeds city centre based practice currently have schemes including high profile award winning mixed use resi, regen, masterplanning, commercial, retail and industrial projects. Current projects include several major mixed use projects, masterplans for city centres and major projects in the middle east.

Still privately owned the practice offers an excellent working environment and the senior management work hard to maintain this. The door is always open to the director’s office and staff are encouraged to contribute to the running of the practice via staff forums which are held regularly to encourage staff to discuss the practice and put forward and questions or concerns. Having recently invested heavily in IT one of the practices priorities is to ensure they stay at the forefront of technological advances.

An excellent, flexible benefits package is offered and this can be tailored depending upon each individuals requirements. Initially you will be rewarded with 22 days holiday – this will increase to 25 after 2 years service and 28 after 5 years with a discretionary Christmas shut down, professional fees are paid as are discretionary bonuses, a stakeholders pension and death in service benefit. Part III students and those wishing to attend additional work related course will be given up to 7 extra days study leave and have their course fees paid.
