Position Description:
International, award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a reputation for quality, innovation and value.
They have an urgent requirement for a Bridge Engineer to work on the design of bridges and other structures within one of the North's biggest Bridges teams.
Candidates will be expected to have achieved an upper second class honors degree or equivalent and have Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution. Proven experience in the design of civil engineering structures is essential as is experience in the design of highway and railway bridges in either steel or concrete, especially to UK and European standards.
Candidates should be flexible team players with a positive attitude and an ability to manage a team and to prioritize workload.
Our client is committed to the training and development of their staff and will seek to support employees as appropriate with formal and on-the-job training.
A competitive salary will be offered, probably in the range of £30- 35,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
