Position Description:
This organisation is one of the largest privately owned building services companies in the UK.
Strategically based regional offices have allowed them to service their private and public sector client base adopting the highest possible standards in mechanical and electrical contracting.
A large number of the team's senior management and site based personnel are long serving and have been promoted through organic growth which is indicative of how the organisation manages it business internally and externally.
There is an immediate requirement for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to be based out of the Leeds regional offices.
Projects come from both the private and public sector and include major healthcare and educational contracts, as well as work for blue chip commercial and retail clients. Due to a large portion of their work developing from partnership agreements, this has secured a healthy workload for the future.
The need for an estimator has arisen due to a restructuring of the department. The Quantity Surveying work is currently outsourced to external contacts, but you will form part of an Estimating team that contains both experienced and inexperienced individuals.
As the team is relatively new, it is an exciting time to join this already established, large M E contractor.
By working for a Mechanical and Electrical contractor at present, you will have developed your knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning within the building services industry.
The opportunity is available to both experienced and less experienced Estimators within the Building Services industry. If you are wishing to join at an experienced level, you must be well accomplished in estimating packages, preferably from a building contractor background.
It may be that you have gained some experience of estimating packages in a related role within the industry but wish to expand your knowledge whilst being supported by experienced individuals and a large infrastructure. |
