Position Description:
Our client is a leading, privately owned construction services provider with annual turnover now in excess of £100 million, generated from projects in both the building and civil engineering markets.



We have been asked to recruit a Planner for their site in the East Midlands area working on a new pipeline scheme for one their leading clients.



The successful candidate will be required to:



1. Develop construction philosophies, understanding any physical & environmental constraints and opportunities

2. Liaise with project team to develop a detailed construction programme using Primavera Pe3 v.6

3. Resource the programme with plant, labour and material information

4. Meet regularly with site team to update progress & programme for future works

5. Highlight areas of work to the site team that will need close management to maintain schedule

6. Maintain and update project baselines, use Earned Value analysis to assess the progress of the project

7. Produce monthly reports for the client detailing progress using Earned Value Analysis

8. Liaise with the commercial team with respect to work done and cost forecasts

9. Manage change items within the programme

10. To assist in other project duties as required by project workload demands
