Position Description:
Our client is one the Country’s leading Social Housing providers - they are now looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support the SHE Manager.
The duties of this role include (amongst others):
 Provision of health and safety specialist advice in conjunction with other Safety & Environmental specialists
 Implementation of safety and other management systems and policies, including the development of contract specific systems as required
 Monitoring compliance to legal and client requirements via audits
 Monitoring risk mitigation against project control plans and risk registers
 Proactively managing the delivery of accident investigations and preventative measures
 Supporting the delivery of contract and business KPI’s
The successful candidate will have had experience in technical analysis of statistical data and have provided professional support to a business, contract and / or function. It is essential that the candidate will have Construction related experience and be qualified in Accident Investigation and IOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety.
The role needs excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be a competent negotiator together with Coaching and Influencing skills.
