Position Description:
Exciting Opportunity! My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical contracts manager with a building services background to join their Leeds base. Excellent salary and benefits package on offer with real career progression opportunities.

The Role:
• Planning Labour
• Organising labour on site
• Responsible for materials
• Meeting project plans and ensuring financial targets are met
• Ensuring M&E installations comply with design, quality and installation standards
• Overseeing all operational activities and ensuring they comply contractually
• Developing relationships with clients and other departments
• Managing a system of costs
• Developing Contractor lists and new business
• Preparing business plan
• Preparing Programmes, method statements and risk assessments
• Procuring labour, materials and sub – contractor
• Health and Safety
• Project activity report for contracts manager
• Weekly/Fortnightly internal meetings

About you:
The right candidate will be given complete freedom and flexibility in their role, be encouraged to manage a project from inception overseeing every phase of its development. Weekly meetings will be held with a Director to monitor the projects development and give any help or advice needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a contracts manager wanting to take on more responsibility and have a greater degree of influence over a project.
• From a building services Mechanical engineering background
• Relevant Qualifications or equivalent experience
• Commercial Awareness
• Strong leadership
• Desire to move a company forward
• Excellent verbal and written communication
