Position Description:
Our client is a multi disciplined construction and engineering contractor operating nationally throughout the UK.
We have been asked to recruit a Rail Site Agent for their site in Trafford Park working within the rail sector for one of their leading clients.
The key tasks of this role include, but are not limited to:
1. Fulfilling the Site Agent’s responsibilities as laid down in Section 2 of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
2. Ensuring that the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of:
o All applicable legislation
o The Terms and Conditions of the contract
o The Contract Health and Safety Plan
o The Contract Quality/Environmental Plan
o The Policies and Procedures contained within the Company Business Management System
3. Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
4. The promotion of a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice.
5. The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
6. Ensuring that, in conjunction with the Site Team, changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively.
7. The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Project Manager, where appointed, or the Contracts Manager.
8. Ensuring that all relevant issues, which cannot be resolved at contract
