Position Description:
Our client is a multi disciplined construction and engineering contractor operating nationally throughout the UK.
We have been asked to recruit a Rail Site Manager for their site in Trafford Park working within the rail sector for one of their leading clients.
The key tasks of this role include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring that works orders are executed in accordance with the requirements of:
o All applicable legislation
o The Terms and Conditions of the contract
o The Contract Health and Safety Plan
o The Contract Quality/Environmental Plan
o The Policies and Procedures contained within the Company Business Management
System
2. Delivery of works within programme and budget.
3. The promotion of a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice.
4. The continuous monitoring of the progress of work orders to ensure contract objectives are
Being met.
5. Ensuring that, changes to work orders are identified agreed and effectively managed.
6. The provision of formal reports on progress to the Construction Manager.
7. Ensuring that all relevant issues, which cannot be resolved at site level, are passed for the
Attention of the Construction Manager.
8. All other requirements of the Roles and Responsibilities Statement for Rail Site Managers.
