Position Description:
Our client is a multi disciplined construction and engineering contractor operating nationally throughout the UK.
We have been asked to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their site in Trafford Park working within the rail sector for one of their leading clients.
The key tasks of this role include, but are not limited to:
Prompt presentation of all applications for payment, including all contractual entitlements.
1. Ensuring that payments are received in accordance with the contract terms.
2. Prompt presentation of Final Accounts, including negotiation of all contractual entitlements.
3. The preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost Value Reconciliations and final cost/value
Forecasts.
4. Forward work schedules and cash flows.
5. Procurement, negotiation and placing of Sub-contract Orders.
6. Financial and commercial management of Sub-contractors through to settlement of their Final
Accounts.
7. Ensuring that all contractual letters/ notices are presented in accordance with the contract
Requirements.
8. Preparation of appropriate documentation in support of additional payment, variations, claims
etc
9. Commercial support to the site and contracts management team
10. Commercial support to the Estimating and Procurement Team.
11. Overview and support of Quantity Surveyors under training as appropriate.
