Our client is a leading, privately owned construction services provider with annual turnover now nearing £120 million, generated from projects in both the building and civil engineering markets.

We have been asked to recruit a Project Planner for their site in Scunthorpe working on a scheme for one their leading clients.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Carry out consultation with Local Planning Authorities and the client as necessary to ensure all regulatory approval including planning permission and building regulations are obtained.
• Liaise with delivery team and local client staff to introduce project.
• Review the scope of projects works and complete decant assessment paperwork to review whether decant is required.
• Define SOR rates for Work Manager where appropriate.
• Undertake role of Principal Contractor Co-coordinator in respect of Construction (design & Management) Regulations.
• Ensure Supply Chain performance is monitored and regular meetings are held to discuss performance.
• Assist in ensuring that costs are prepared on time and correctly submitted with all necessary supportive information to enable all milestone invoices to be raised.
• Ensure all project work is completed to the required standards and that relevant documentation is handed over in a timely manner upon completion and that it is recorded against the appropriate assets in Work Manager.
• Attend meetings with Occupant Representatives and client representatives where required.
• Act as directed in the support of Project Managers in the pre-construction planning of large projects.
• Any other duty commensurate with the position. Person Specification: Experience: • Proven track record of the management of pre -construction project planning, and/or construction, or related field.
• Experienced in managing a diverse range of job requests with competing deadlines.
