Position Description:
This highly ambitious practice of Architects, Urbanists and Planners based in Wakefield is now looking for a creative architect to expand its capability and take the design responsibility from the directors.
You will be a creative architect with at least a years experience in a similar role and a healthy interest in fresh, new designs, seeking the opportunity to undertake a fully autonomous role with a company that will help you to develop your skills. With a current portfolio that includes Leisure, City Centre and Commercial Residential and master planning you will be encouraged to fully expand the current clients brief aswell as developing your own clients over time.

You will be joining a small, sociable company where people matter and are valued more highly that ANYTHING else in the company, and be encouraged to develop personally in line with the companies self improvement programme. On a monthly basis all employees down tools for a teambuilding event during office hours lateral thinking is always encouraged, the practice has its own Art gallery where employees can contribute with their own work. Notes from monthly board meetings are distributed around the company ensuring everyone is informed and the open communication ethos within the company is adhered to. It is not unheard of for individuals who have contributed over and above their usual role to be sent for a days rally driving or shopping in Jersey.
