Position Description:
A contender for the largest multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Inspirational Structural Engineer to help lead and grow a strong structural team within a multi-disciplinary office.
The role will require an individual who has already made an impact in the market by their ability to manage and deliver multiple projects on time and on budget. You will be working in a demanding environment, liaising with multiple clients, colleagues and architects. A team player is a must with first rate communication skills and an ability to be able to think outside the box.
As Senior Structural Engineer your role will involve acting as Job Leader and (in some circumstances) Project Leader, managing single or multi-disciplinary projects and preparing technical and financial proposals for new work workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians. You will also be required to take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design, to check/verify other team member’s work and to monitor financial performance of jobs.
