Nationally Established Independent Civil & Structural Consultancy looking to strengthen their roads and drainage design team in Leeds. As a Civil Engineering CAD Technician your responsibilities will include hands-on General Arrangement drawing, detailing and specifications of the roads and drainage elements for retail, commercial and industrial developments. You will work with engineers and technicians as part of a team, liasing with clients and contractors on site matters via telephone, with the occasional site visit. Excellent opportunities exist for personal development, with support in gaining further qualifications and management responsibility, if desired. Must at least two years professional experience of roads and drainage detailed design on development infrastructure projects, preferably in the housing, retail or leisure sectors. Must be proficient with AutoCAD and have a civil engineering qualification. Some experience of structural engineering CAD would be of advantage. Knowledge of Micro Drainage and PDS design software is an advantage. This is a forward thinking employer offering the opportunity for the right candidate to progress into a more senior role.
