Description

Our client is an award winning national major civil engineering contractor and has proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects. They require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience of Civil Engineering projects, specifically highways and roads. You will ideally be HND/HNC/Degree qualified with strong commercial and team playing skills. You will take on the following responsibilities:



Provide taking off and bill of quantities preparation.
Preparation of interim applications.
Identify and prepare additional items and claims.
Preparation of final accounts.
Advise on procurement issues.
Measurement and valuation of sub-contract work.
Preparation and negotiation of sub-contractors’ final accounts.
Preparation of cost and value financial reporting and forecasting.
Assist in cost and risk management.
Document control and archiving.
Provide site management with commercial support and advice
