Position Description:
Our client is an award winning national major civil engineering contractor and has proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects. They require an experienced and professionally qualified (Degree level or equivalent) Contracts Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering projects, specifically roads, highways and petrochemical, etc. Must be a good team player with strong team player, approachable and with excellent communication skills. Your main responsibilities will be:
Provide leadership ensuring that contractual commitments are met and exceeded
Communicate and ensure implementation of business policies and procedures.
Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts.
Develop and maintain a fully competent team
Development of financial plans - ensure that these are met and exceeded
Ensure appropriate contract review, audit and control systems are met.
Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support
