Position Description:
Experienced Team Leader or Senior Social Worker required to join busy Children & Families Team. You will support staff to deliver quality services in the areas of child protection, looked after children, and the children’s hearing system. In addition, you will provide direction and support to social workers working with families affected by children with a disability.
Duties include:
Leading a team of social work staff in the delivery of a frontline service to an identified client group, providing line management and professional support.
Responsible for the quality of service provided by the team and to contribute to service development.
To take a lead role in developing and overseeing a specific professional area and provide advice on future developments.
Experience:
All applicants must have a recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW or equivalent), the skills to work constructively with families and partner services, and must be registered with the SSCC or GSCC.
An Enhanced Scottish Disclosure check will be carried out on all applicants.
