Position Description:
This is a senior position within the company, reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Ideally the successful candidate would be qualified to HNC level in Production Engineering and would be able to demonstrate an extensive background in the production of accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings covering a wide variety of both machining and fabrication work.

The company’s client base is wide ranging as is the extent of our manufacturing capability and in recognition of this, we would provide full support and back-up during the initial period of introduction to the company’s Estimating and Sales Department.

Within a short period of time we would expect the successful candidate to take on a more senior role, combining their own estimating function, with that of the day to day operation and control of the Estimating and Sales Department. This would embrace discussion and agreement on enquiry selection and monitoring of enquiries issued to other estimators within the department (3/4 No) and telephone follow up of selected tenders.
