The Senior CBS will manage a technical support team when appropriate, reporting to a Building Surveying Director. He or she will be responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of work.
Project co-ordination & contract administration. RICS Plan of Work duties from Stage A to H (RIBA Stages A to L) for alteration repair & refurbishment works. Preparation of schedules of work & specifications.
Preparation of schedules of dilapidation & condition.
Preparation of Planned Maintenance Reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Structural surveys & defect diagnosis. Expert witness & Party Wall
• Surveyor duties. Professional BS work generally.
• 80% industrial & commercial including Home Office, Church
• Commissioners, the Police & others.
• 20% residential including stately homes & Housing Associations.
• Project values - £100k - £2m and occasionally beyond.
• Specific examples to be discussed at interview.

CHARTERSHIPS:

• MRICS (minimum standard essential)

EXPENSES/CAR
ALLOWANCE:
• 40p/mile up to 5000 miles & 55p/mile thereafter.
