Position Description:
Day to Day Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for preparation of detailed drawings to all RIBA Plan of Work Stages A-L, in close consultation with the Project Architect / in house teams.
• Liaison with clients, other design team members including the on site construction team as appropriate.
• Responsible for junior architectural staff, managing projects from inception to completion to tight delivery programmes, including working on own inititative and as part of a larger in-house design team.
• Schedules of work, NBS / specifications, measured survey work, including preparation of presentation drawings
Projects/Schemes
• 80% industrial & commercial including Home Office, Church Commissioners, healthcare and others
• 20% residential including stately homes, Housing Associations and private clients
• Project Values £100k-£25m
I.T Skills
• MS Word & Excel
• AutoCAD LT and sketch up packages
Other Skills
• Good all round construction detailing design ability essential. Building regulations knowledge essential
• CDM Coordinator training (desirable)
Management Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good organization skills
• Good team worker essential
Prospects/Career Development
• Qualified Architectural CAD Technician. We will encourage career progression within the practice.
Qualifications
• ONC – B / Studies HNC – B / Studies and or HND
Charterships
• (CIOB.MICE)
• C.I.A.T member (Desirable)

• Car driver & owner.
• CPD record reasonably upto date
EXPENSES/CAR ALLOWANCE:
• 40p/mile up to 5000 miles & 55p/mile thereafter.
