Position Description:
Our client is a leading construction company with an enviable reputation for delivering high quality buildings. With a turnover in excess of £160m per annum, their professionalism and capability, particularly in design and build, has generated successful partnerships with many major clients both locally and nationally.
Due to their continued success they are now keen to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be based from their Newbury office on challenging and interesting construction projects in the Thames Valley area. Projects can vary in size from £1m to £25m in the commercial, industrial, hotel and leisure, education and health sectors.
Reporting to the Area Quantity Surveyor you will be integral to a well established commercial team, managing a number of site based projects predominantly design and build with the responsibility for ensuring adherence to financial and contractual protocols contributing to profitable performance. Drawing on your extensive knowledge and experience of the construction industry and well established in a similar role, you will lead the learning and development of the surveying team members.
