Fantastic opportunities available for motivated and articulate Senior Transport Planner.
The transportation division in Leeds, which has been recently set up, is looking for a Senior Transport Planner. You should have at least 5 years transportation planning experience, ideally in an environment specialising in supporting private sector planning applications or performing a TA development control function within a local authority. Must have knowledge of transport assessments, travel plans, environmental impact assessments, technical notes and local traffic impact assessments. Must have knowledge of PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT, TRICS and TRAVL. Awareness of the principles of traffic engineering and familiarity with the design criteria for priority junctions, roundabouts and signalised arrangements to outline design level would be an advantage.
