Position Description:
Duties include:
To prepare accurate, well set out estimates and quotations for the Selling Divisions to
maximise the Customer Satisfaction scores and quotation to order conversion rates.
To ensure drawings issued by Architectural Design or produced by the Estimator meet the client’s design requirements.
To ensure that any prices obtained from external suppliers or sub-contractors, directly or through the Team Buyer, are an accurate and competitive reflection of the work.
To utilise the current estimating software to produce quotation information and presentation.
To liaise with other members of the Project Team to ensure materials or work priced for, comply with accepted Company standards and relevant Building Regulations.
To co-ordinate the obtaining of prices for non-standard costed items and sub-contract works where applicable, with the Project Team’s Buyer, Engineer and Commercial Team Manager.
To communicate effectively in an appropriate business-like manner with clients, suppliers and internal personnel using suitable modes of communication, ensuring that computer data is diligently recorded and managed.

Due to an increase in work they are now looking to recruit a project estimator To promote the Company’s UK sales business through the preparation of accurate estimates, including all related administration, and liaison with other Project Team members, sub-contractors and clients.
