Position Description:
As one of the leading construction companies in the Social Housing sector, our client is currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to join their team in the North West.



Reporting to the Regional Director and the Construction Manager, the successful candidate must adopt a client facing approach and maintain integration with other project representatives.



The scheme is a PFI New Build and Refurbishment Social Housing project and therefore experience of Social Housing is essential. Experience of PFI schemes would be a great advantage.



Key duties in the role include:



· Active participation, contribution and management of the procurement of work.

· Communication with Clients, and Stakeholders to establish excellent working relationships, trust and communication.

· Prepare aspect and impact surveys in accordance with the Company’s Environmental Policy and provide adequate control mechanisms.

· Comply with Environmental Procedures and establish waste management strategies.

· Promote high standards of health and safety management.

· Present regular progress reports at Contract Review meetings identifying particular and potential problem areas throughout the contract.

· Prepare subcontract procurement schedules for agreement with the Site/Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
