Position Description:
You will be working with principle designers to assist with the mechanical design on projects which vary from multi-disciplinary projects, in various sectors, including retail and education to healthcare and sport, you will be expected to assist with the activities of the building services team including working closely with other team members and clients. It is a requirement that you work with a high level of attention to detail as well as completing work to the required standard of quality, on time and within the agreed fee. You should be able to work autonomously when required and capable of exceeding the clients expectations.
A relevant degree in engineering is a must and Chartered, or nearing chartership is beneficial. First rate communication skills, both written and verbal are expected as are excellent technical skills. Lateral thinking is essential and an aptitude for problem solving is necessary. You must also have the ability to motivate team members and yourself.
