A strong leader with a proven organizational background in maintenance or facilities management is required by this large public sector organization. It is this organisations obligation to ensure that all of its 4000 housing stock is certified in line with current government legislation, you will be in charge of overseeing the sub contractor who has been selected to carry out the work ensuring they are working within to specification and within the confines of the contract. You will not be responsible for doing any hands on gas work or checking any gas work. Your role will be to work closely with the sub contractor, liaising with them on a daily basis to ensure that they are carrying out the work correctly and hitting their targets/KPI’s. A background in gas could be advantageous but the role will not involve technically checking work so is not essential.
