This well respected environmental consultancy is looking to strengthen its Materials Testing team in Sheffield. They are looking for an experienced materials technician to assist with the quality control of materials and workmanship in civil engineering construction schemes. The role will include the collection and preparation samples of highway materials. Testing, both in the laboratory and on site

Responsibilities will include:



Collection of samples
Analysis of samples & completion of analysis reports
Testing the products against the specifications of the client and to legal standards

Further or higher education within the Civil Engineering filed is essential (ONC/HNC or degree). For this role you will need to have a car and have passed your driving test.
