Position Description:
Our client is large multi disciplinary Environmental Consultancy that have offices throughout the UK. Having recently secured a major contract they are now seeking to add to their Legionella team in The Modlands and require risk assessors/ water hygiene technicians to work within a large national retail chain. Your main role will be carrying out regular and one-off Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 legislation.
You will posses a good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and the water regulations governing these. You will be assessing a variety of different properties from small retail outlets through to large distribution centres performing risk assessments, cleaning, disinfections & microbiological sampling on chlorifiers, sinks, cooling towers, pressure washers and anything else water related.
You will compile files that include schematic drawings, and produce final documents including for clients.The key objectives of the role would be a working knowledge of ACOP L8 and experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments
Previous experience Having attended an approved Risk Assessment course would be an obvious benefit.
Excellent IT skills will be required as all surveys are carried out using PDA devices to enable a professional risk assessment document to be produced. |
