Description

A major local authority embarking upon a large capital project focussed on local transport planning is looking to appoint an experienced transport planner to act as project manager. Your role will be to manage the projects and be responsible for delivering complete projects. As you will have involvement from initial consultation through to final delivery you will work alongside and have direct involvement with in house design teams, planners and other project managers who will have responsibility for other parts of the project.



Your experience will encompass delivering public transport/traffic management projects, delivering and measuring improvements in journey times, improvements to junctions, modeling traffic flows, looking at sustainable traffic modes and increasing bus patronage. Experience of public consultation is essential and you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of costs and will be focussed on delivering outputs.
