Regional Civil Engineering contractor with proven and extensive civil engineering and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client focused solutions from minor works through to major infrastructure projects.



Due to our growing order book an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to manage high profile regional projects.

Responsibilities

To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction where possible
To plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
To coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division
To ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely
To jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff
To liaise with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients
To deliver project schemes profitably and to time and enhance the companies reputation and look to further business
To assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Commercial Manager

Requirements
Extensive Project Management experience on civil engineering projects, specifically Roads/Highways/Rail
HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable
Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
