Immediate opening for a fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician required to be mobile between Walkergate and Sedgefield Hospitals.

We are seeking a team player, capable of working on own initiative, customer focused with good IT and communication skills.

C&G II in Electrical Maintenance/Installation or ONC/BTEC Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and 17th edition IEE wiring regulations, successful completion of the Authorised Persons LV Electrics HTM06 course and a full driving licence are essential.

Experience of hospital/medical systems, Authorised Persons Medical Gases and RP Legionella would be advantageous.

Based on five day working principally Monday to Friday on a 3 shift rota to cover 7.30 am to 8pm.1 in 4 out of hours call out rota (including weekends) requires the post holder to have quick and easy access to site. Duties are practical and will include moderate physical work including lifting, access to and working at height, confined spaces, and work in clinical environments.

This is a monthly salaried post, with generous call out and stand by payments, other benefits include 33 days paid holiday, excellent training and employer contributed pension scheme.
