As one of the leading Contractors in the region, my client is looking to increase its team by appointing an Estimator to work in their Worksop office.



Projects range from £1m to £10m and are predominantly Design & Build projects so experience of working on Design and Build projects is essential.



The role requires the successful candidate to:



· Attend the pre-tender meeting with the other members of the tender team to identify aspects of the tender requiring particular attention and determine the programme.

· Identify and extract the elements of the tender which will be priced by sub-contractors.

· Take off materials to produce a materials summary.

· Arrange a site visit to assess local conditions and any other aspects of importance or relevance to the tender.

· Collate all the foregoing elements to produce the most competitive tender price.

· Attend the submission meeting to explain and be questioned on the various elements of the tender.

· Attend the hand over meeting identifying to Production staff rates/prices which may be of benefit or risk in the construction stages.
