Our Client is one of the leading Fm providers in the world and heads the way in enabling new and innovative FM solutions for all types of client in the private and public Centre



To head up a small team of engineering staff and sub contractors on a new build state of the art data centre. The uptime of the data centre is paramount and as such the engineering team needs excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail. In addition, support will be required to the Data Centre Manager and a willingness to assist in ensuring that standardisation of service delivery is achieved at all three data centres on the contract.



- To ensure compliance with all current company IMS, H&S & HR policies and procedures.

- To ensure compliance with all engineering statutory and mandatory requirements and relevant company and client policies.

- To be formally appointed as deputy responsible person where relevant.

- To assist in implementing Critical Environment Management (CEM) procedures as required

- To manage excellent relationships with all stakeholders including, our client, our suppliers and other partners.

- To understand the Client, and Business requirements, and support and deliver solutions to meet and exceed needs contributing to the satisfaction of customer objectives.

-To support all the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) associated with the role and as required within the contract.

- To support and lead in the provision of technical support to business incidents and failures during business hours and outside business hours on-call as required.

- To support customer and company audits ensuring optimum results are achieved.

- To line manage engineering staff including recruitments and selection and development.

- To ensure engineering staff are suitably qualified and hold current certification. Skills to be in-line with skills matrix, anomalies identified and remedial action instigated.

- To ensure adequate site manning levels are required to include holiday planning and sickness cover

- To implement and manage on call rotas and shift patterns


Time served BS7671 17th Edition (16th accepted) electrician with practical experience in critical environments

Qualification and/or thorough experience and knowledge of the majority of the following building services, Electrical (HV & LV), HVAC, Critical Environments, UPS and Emergency Power Generation, Water Hygiene, Close Control Air Conditioning.

Previous supervisory experience of direct engineering engineering staff and sub contractors

Ideally IOSH Qualification to management level.

IT literacy to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and ability to receive suitable training on CAFM systems
