Overview

To supervise a small team of soft services and engineering operatives on a Head Office campus in Dunfermline. Caledonia House is a purpose built office facility approx 15 years old with a wide range of services some of which have a critical element. The successful applicant will have a wide ranging background and be required to action the majority of engineering tasks arising (both PPM and reactive) using a combination of self delivery and sub contract specialists and provide the day to day management of sub contract cleaning, reception, security and post room teams. In addition, support will be required to the Facilities Team Leader and a willingness to assist in ensuring that standardisation of service delivery is achieved at all sites within the Regional Brands portfolio.



Key Objectives

To ensure compliance with all current company IMS, H&S & HR policies and procedures.

- To ensure compliance with all engineering statutory and mandatory requirements and relevant company and client policies.

- To be formally appointed as deputy responsible person where relevant.

- To manage excellent relationships with all stakeholders including, our client, our suppliers and other partners.

- To understand the Client, and Business requirements, and support and deliver solutions to meet and exceed needs contributing to the satisfaction of customer objectives.

-To support all the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) associated with the role and as required within the contract.

- To support and lead in the provision of support to business incidents and failures during business hours and be an escalation point outside normal hours.

- To support customer and company audits ensuring optimum results are achieved.

- To ensure adequate site manning levels to include holiday planning and sickness cover

- To implement and manage on call rotas and shift patterns.



Knowledge and Qualifications

Time served BS7671 17th Edition (16th accepted) electrician with practical experience in office environments

Knowledge of the majority of the following building services, Electrical, HVAC, UPS and Emergency Power Generation, Water Hygiene, Close Control Air Conditioning.

Previous supervisory experience of specialist sub contractors (ideally to include hard and soft services)

Likely to have 5 years practical experience and/or be a fully qualified professional with minimum of 2 years PQE with Intermediate Level Qualifications.

Ideally IOSH Qualification to supervisory level.

IT literacy to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and ability to receive suitable training on CAFM systems
