Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 per hour Type Contract

Linear Contact: The company has an annual turnover of almost £150 million and carries out projects from around £1m to £50m for a wide range of public and private sector customers.
Their involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance, and ranges from individual projects through to long term framework agreements.

Description

Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will deal with the preparation of subcontract orders and the payment of subcontractors. You will also be responsible for measurements, valuations and internal reporting.
You must be commercially aware and a strong team player with a strong track record in General Infrastructure and Highways construction projects for a main contractors.
Current projects include tendered and negotiated Highways, general Infrastructure and Civils projects from £120M in the Manchester & Liverpool area
