Project Manager – Retail Project – Bristol

My client, a Main Contractor with an envious track record is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to work in the Retail food supermarket sector within the Bristol area.

This is a new position created by business growth that demands first class Project Management skills and extensive experience working within the Retail food supermarket sector for clients like Sainsbury, Asda, M&S and Waitrose

Job Description:

•Ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with the design, the programme and other requirements of the project.
•Checking quality control and overall management of all sub contractors.
•Implementation and monitoring of all safety procedures and inductions covering all personnel and activities on site and ensuring compliance with the Contractor’s duties under CDM regulations.
•Maintaining open dialogue with the client’s representative for the site and safety related matters.
•Directing and coordinating all activities, sub-contractors and deliveries to site to eliminate/minimise delay, disruption and risk to safe working.
•Overall management of the Site and house keeping.
•Monitoring daily activities, personnel and plant on site and keeping appropriate records.
•Maintaining a set of marked up drawings showing as built details where in variance to the design.
•Managing the Site team, the Site facilities and Site establishment budget.
•Being a pro active member of the project team committed to the success of the project.
