An opportunity has arisen with a Main Contractor that specialise in Social Care. The company has always worked in the Construction, Housing and Property industry undertaking a wide range of work from residential homes, nursing homes to domiciliary care. My client is currently looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their Bromley office supporting the expanding Bid Team. It is essential that candidates applying have a track record of previous experience supporting a team and managing an office environment. You must have at least 3 years in a similar role and it is preferred you are degree qualified.

Purpose:
• To work with the Bid Manager and Business Development Director within the business to produce high quality marketing proposals and tender submission documents to secure future opportunities and workload for the business.

Duties:
• Coordinating with clients (and subcontractors) on bid administration issues
• Managing and control of the mailing list, phone lists & data base
• Managing the bid calendar and outstanding issues lists
• Organising management review meetings and client workshops
• Monitoring and reporting on overall bid progress, and preparation of status briefing material
• Assisting in the preparation of PQQs and bid documentation
• Business planning - managing and presenting complex financial packages
• Identifying opportunities and securing funds from a variety of sources
• Develop and agree a timetable for the BID process with key milestones. Monitor and review the timetable on a regular basis.
• Organise and prepare presentations / interviews for new business bids and retenders.

Requirements:
• Degree qualified
• Experience of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of people;
Ability to communicate effectively with well-developed oral, written and presentation skills;
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and sensitivity in dealing with complaints and other confidential matters;
• Organisational skills with the ability to use initiative, plan ahead and meet deadlines whilst paying attention to detail;
• Enthusiasm and commitment to provide a quality service.
