Our client has built an impressive reputation within the London residential market place, winning awards for regenerating disused parts of the capital and transforming them into vibrant communities in attractive landscaped grounds, offering on-site facilities such as fitness suites, business centres, concierge service, shops, cafés and restaurants.

They are currently looking for a Finishing Manager with proven experience managing the handovers and snagging of luxury projects on major mixed use schemes. It is essential that you have a current CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificate. Please note that this is a 6 month contract.

Duties:
• Carry out site inspections two months prior to intended A.P.C. date. Report on condition and progress of unit to Customer Service Executive and Construction Team.
• Inspect and co-ordinate PCO’s and PSF’s activity. Check and verify any PSF/PCO information with Construction, Customer Service and Technical staff. Keep details of all customer choices in a neat and orderly manner and ensure that any paperwork related to a plot is maintained and managed properly.
• Liaise with Main Contractor’s management team and where appropriate the relevant sub-contractor in respect of any remedial works required.
• Escort any mortgage surveyors and Customer Service Executive / Manager for inspections.
• Liaise with Customer Service Manager to provide expeditious completion of all or any items raised at pre-occupation inspection and handover and keep all parties fully appraised of progress and completion of any works.
• Coordinate with and instruct appointed Maintenance Company as and when required. Supervise direct employed Maintenance Operatives and Sub-contractors used during defect works when required to do so.
• Ensure accurate, detailed and complete information regarding all and any interaction with the Customer is conveyed expeditiously to the Customer Service Manager and the Project Manager.
• Ensure property is presented to a high standard at handover to the Customer Service Manager and on completion to the customer ensure instruction of white goods, central heating, arrange cleaning of property and general care of new properties.
• Attend departmental meetings and take an active part.
• To manage efficiently the building operations of the section of the works. Reporting any issues on a daily basis to the Project Manager/Site Manager, more specifically;
• Reporting to: Line Manager i.e. Project Manager or Site Manager
