Position Description:
Working within the CME Division(Renewable Energy) reporting to the CME Operations Manager, Roles & Responsibilities: Successful Construction control of awarded projects. Site management of Safety, Quality, Environment issues. To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications To ensure client satisfaction where possible. To manage all personnel within your control professionally, effectively and reasonably. To plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner. To coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division. To ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely. To jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff. To provide feedback to operations manager on financial issues both positive and negative with constructive advice on areas requiring improvement. To liaise with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients. Pro-active with ability to work un-supervised
Business/Role Objectives To deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance McNicholas reputation and look to further
business. To assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Senior manager.
Person Specification Ideally Degree Qualified Civil Engineer 10 years + experience.Willing to travel Computer literate Likely to be based Midlands/ Peterborough
