A specialist Structural Engineering practice in Leeds is currently seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join their 30 strong team. The role involves working alongside teams of 4 or 5 structural engineers on a variety of projects involving structural steel and reinforced concrete detailing.
The company work on a diverse range of projects with over 90% of them based in Yorkshire. The workload ranges from high-rise city centre apartments and office blocks to industrial warehouses and petrol stations. All staff are encouraged to make site visits and see the end product of their work.
Candidates must be qualified to a minimum of ONC level as well as having relevant AutoCAD skills. There is the opportunity to learn design if the candidate desires although the appointment will be made purely on the basis of CAD skills.
